Charles L. Davis is currently an Executive Director for Industrial Sales and Leasing with Commerce Real Estate Solutions, a Cushman & Wakefield Alliance member.

Over the past 32 years, Charlie has gained extensive experience in all facets of commercial real estate sales and leasing of office, industrial and land. A skilled negotiator on behalf of landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers of Real Estate, Charlie has been involved in the sale or leasing of more than 1 million square feet of commercial buildings and 11,000 acres of land. In the last three years, he has completed 54 transactions totaling $70 million. In 2008 to 2011 he represented RAMCO Energy in the identification, search and acquisition of five 20 to 60 acre parcels within Utah for the development of gas fired Electric Generation Facilities.

Since 2007, Charlie has further strengthened his experience representing public entities. He represented Salt Lake City Airports in the purchase of 11 properties, 390 acres and 104,000 square feet of buildings for its future fourth runway. In 2009 and 2010 Charlie represented Salt Lake City Corporation in the assemblage of one half of a Downtown City block for the construction of a new Public Safety Complex and the purchase of the final parcel needed for Salt Lake City/County Regional Athletic/Soccer Complex. All Owners of the properties assembled for Salt Lake Department of Airports and Salt Lake City Corp were not for sale and had to be talked into selling without condemnation.

Most recently, Charlie represented L-3 Communications in the lease negotiations on five buildings totaling 188,000 square feet of office and industrial space and Salt Lake Community College for the long term lease of a 36,000 SF Office building.

Large national corporations, city and county governments, and local companies have depended on Charlie’s abilities to help accomplish their real estate goals.

Prior to his real estate career, Charlie was in manufacturing and construction, with a four year tour at the University of Utah. He began his real estate career in 1979, and then began his commercial real estate career with Grubb and Ellis Land Division in 1981. He then moved to Commerce Real Estate Solutions in 1989 where he ranks among the firm’s overall top producers.
