With 38 years of experience in the real estate industry, Anne has honed her problem-solving skills to a fine point through involvement in hundreds of diverse transactions. Anne is equal to challenges that might appear insurmountable to less practiced agents, and she enjoys solving the unique issues presented by the requirements of each individual tenant. A savvy negotiator who is known for her ability to work well with other agents, Anne is adept at representing the interests of tenants, landlords and investors.
Anne began her real estate career dealing in residential and investment properties. She chose to focus her efforts on the industrial and commercial investment areas after joining Commerce Properties in 1986. Since that time, she has been involved in large industrial investments, trades, leasing and acquisition/disposition of properties throughout the State of Utah, representing a roster of local and national clients. Anne also has taken on the task of Landlord representation which includes S-Devcorp, Ninigret Group LLC and Portfolio Investments.
In 1992, Anne played an integral role in the development of Ninigret Park, one of the premier industrial/office parks in the Salt Lake Valley. After having sold the park’s 178-acre site to its developers, she was retained as a member of the team responsible for everything from master-planning, design, infrastructure and building sites to marketing the property.
Anne’s involvement with Ninigret Park, which had a total build-out of over two million square feet, required the ability to navigate a wide variety of complex issues that affect developers and tenants in today’s rapidly-changing market. She became adept at dealing with the bureaucratic requirements of public agencies such as planning commissions, the Department of Economic Development, public utilities, and traffic and transportation departments. She also worked closely with the team of specialists involved in executing plans for the park, including civil engineers, architects, contractors and their utility/excavation subcontractors. Through the years, Anne has built a formidable knowledge of every aspect of industrial development, leasing and sales.
From its earliest development, Anne, who specializes in R & D industrial and investment properties, has been involved with Portfolio Investments and the principle architect to develop CentrePointe Business Park, a 12.5 acre, R & D Campus with 215,473 square feet in a three-building campus. Anne’s experience enabled her to evaluate the environmental quality for research and development tenants and reach the parties involved in making decisions to enable this project to proceed into a beautiful campus at 1865-1895 W. 2100 S., in Salt Lake City, Utah.
