Company Experience

Dave Colucci serves as Director of Engineering for the Asset Services Division of Commerce Real Estate Solutions, a position he attained after serving as an Engineer.

In this capacity, Dave oversees all Asset Services construction projects, including coordination of architects, contractors, teledata and various vendors, which he approves, as well as their scope of work. He is in charge of creating AutoCAD floor plates, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and assisting property managers with all phases of tenant improvements and remodels. Dave supervises a team of eight engineers and two tenant services support staff.

During his tenure with Commerce, Dave has been project manager for companies such as Advanced MD, Corelogic, and 1-800 Contacts. He has overseen projects as large as $2 million dollars and as small as $50,000; building out over 50,000 square feet and remodeling just a few thousand square feet. Dave uses his knowledge of the construction industry to ensure quality control throughout the tenant improvement process from start to finish.

Prior to joining Commerce in 2005, Dave gained over 20 years of extensive experience working as a foreman, superintendent and safety supervisor for companies in Salt Lake City, Park City, and American Fork, Utah, as well as in California. During this time he gained invaluable knowledge managing remodels and multi-million dollar tenant improvements.

Dave studied Architectural Construction Management at Salt Lake Community College. He is a journeyman carpenter and is a past member of the Local Carpenter’s Union Executive Board. Recently, he was recognized for his contribution to Habitat for Humanity in Summit County.

Known for his communication and organizational skills, Dave is well liked and respected by management, peers, and staff alike. He consistently demonstrates capability in facilities management and brings his strong work ethic, commitment, reliability, leadership and positive attitude to every project.
