Professional Expertise

David Jewkes is a senior director with Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce’s Las Vegas office. He works closely with market leaders in Las Vegas and Reno to oversee the creation and maintenance of the entire asset services portfolio for both Nevada offices. All assets are owned by institutional and local/regional investors.

David Jewkes returns to Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce after serving three years in a variety of leadership roles within Las Vegas’ commercial real estate industry – most recently, as president of Integris Realty Services, and previously as executive director of Commerce TNP since February 2010, where David managed and tripled Commerce TNP’s portfolio to over six million square feet of commercial office, retail and industrial space.

David first joined Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce in late 2007, when Burnham Real Estate was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield. His role was expanded from managing director after introducing the Asset Recovery Services practice, which provided receivership services and managed agent REO for distressed assets and failing loans. Since 2009, David has provided court supervised Receiver services on more than sixty assets in fifteen jurisdictions of Nevada, California, Utah and Arizona. He had played a key role as senior vice president and director of Corporate Development for Burnham Real Estate and established its Las Vegas office in 2004, becoming managing director/broker.

David has more than twenty years of real estate management and transaction experience, with specific expertise in strategic asset management. Prior to joining Burnham Real Estate, he was eleven years as an associate with Wallace Associates in Salt Lake City, eventually becoming president and CEO. He also spent two years in a senior position with the Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee before joining Burnham Real Estate.
