Company Experience

Dell Nichols has been active in the commercial / industrial real estate industry since 1975. His expertise provides clientele with a full menu of investment brokerage, solutions to difficult and unusual transactions and added value transactional services. Dell has significant experience in the acquisition and disposition of low and mid-rise office, all types of industrial and retail properties. Dell launched and is the main principal of a real estate operating company, DSN Properties, LLC which remains active in the business of buying, selling, and developing commercial properties in the region. Further he has great expertise of properties held by bankruptcy estates, receiverships, and financial institutions. As a business development professional, Dell has owned and operated various businesses, including movie theaters and executive office suites. He has owned, developed, and operated multiple retail locations of convenience stores; recreational vehicle sales, parts and service; bagel, and pizza food services. In addition, he is responsible for establishing the 2001 National Championship Utah Blitzz men’s professional soccer team in Utah.

In 1979, Dell became a founding partner and president of Commerce Properties Inc. Dell went on to preside over Dell S. Nichols Realty Corp., specializing in commercial brokerage and development before joining Consolidated Realty Group as Director of Corporate Services in 1991. In 1999 Dell left CRG and headed ANA Development serving client capital and developed opportunities focused on creating real estate value. With the retreat of his capital provider, Dell returned to Commerce in 2001. His experience is augmented by his achievement of the prestigious CCIM and SIOR designations in 1985 and in participation in industry organizations, such as the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), Western Petroleum Marketers Association (WPMA), and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). His experience as a broker, CRE owner and as a developer brings him a comprehensive understanding of development, construction, operations, and marketing of commercial projects within the industrial, retail and office sectors.
