Darrell Tate joined the highly regarded Retail Division of Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce in 2001 as a land/retail specialist. Darrell has represented both national and local retailers in market entry and expansion, as well as the disposition of excess or surplus property. Darrell’s extensive knowledge of the Utah and his attention to client needs are key elements to his success in tenant representation in the market. Effectively utilizing the advance technology and analytical tools and systems at Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce, Darrell provides the highest level of service and support to his retail clients expanding in the Utah market.

Darrell has established himself as one of the leading agents in the disposition and redevelopment of vacant big-box retail properties. He works directly with retailers to dispose of vacated surplus properties and with owners to redevelop and re-tenant vacated big box buildings.

As a retail and land specialist, Darrell has an in-depth understanding of the uniqueness of land transactions that benefits his clients. His knowledge of land use, zoning, site planning, title review, and other critical information associated with land transactions are the reasons land owners and users in the market have relied on him to assist them during the transaction process. Darrell understands that signing the contract is just the beginning of his job, and he is committed to assisting his clients beyond the completion of the transaction.

Darrell understands the value of detailed, methodical market analysis and evaluation to transactions in real estate. Whether it is a small local tenant looking for an additional location, or a large national client expanding or entering the Utah market, he provides all of his clients the same level of in-depth market analysis and property and location evaluation.
