Prior to joining Commerce Real Estate Solutions James was an Associate Attorney for a prestigious law firm in Western Montana. In this capacity James worked extensively in the areas of business transactions, real estate transactions, dispute resolution, and corporate and business law. His duties while with this firm included document drafting and review, legal research, writing of briefs, business and real estate negotiations, and the management and solicitation of clients. As an attorney James brings unique qualities to the real estate profession that few in the industry possess. His ability to negotiate through, and resolve, difficult situations have proven invaluable to his clients.

His tremendous interpersonal skills make James comfortable working with individuals in every position of an organization. He takes the time to listen to clients, understands their needs and is then dedicated to meeting the expectations of their requests. He uses his mediation experience and common sense to solve problems and ensure smooth transactions in each project in which he is involved. James has developed an attention to detail and a dedication to customer service that earns him the trust and respect of his clients. James received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the University of Montana where he focused his studies on tax law, business law, property law and real estate transaction law. James also served in the Utah National Guard where he served in a Military Intelligence Unit and was trained in Prisoner of War Interrogation and Spanish Linguistics.
