Professional Expertise

Matt Kreft joined Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce in 2015 as a senior associate, representing tenants and landlords of office, industrial and medical properties. He is an experienced financial analyst, adept with reviewing investment property sales pro forma and preparing budget and leasing projections for clients’ commercial portfolios.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce’s Las Vegas office, Matt spent two years representing commercial real estate clients at Voit Real Estate services. He also spent nine years as an associate to Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Scherer Group, and worked as a property operations analyst for a nationwide owner of affordable housing developments, where he administered public assistance contracts with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, as well as properties' contracts and funding for repair and replacement.

Matt moved to Las Vegas from Sacramento, California, where he served as a Program Analyst with the Office of Public School Construction for the State of California (OPSC). During his tenure with the OPSC, Matt advised the State Allocation Board on funding public school construction and modernization projects. He processed the funding applications for over $100 million in real estate acquisitions for new public school construction in California.

Accomplishments

  • General Growth Properties: exceeded lease-up projections of 1.1 million square foot Las Vegas office portfolio, capitalizing on investment ahead of schedule with an over $100 million sale in 2012.
