Professional Expertise

Matthew Leishman is a Senior Property Manager with Cushman & Wakefield Commerce. He oversees the financial operations, maintenance, capital improvements, tenant relations, owner relations, and marketing efforts for over two million square feet of commercial property, and recently spent three years managing all of GLP’s (Global Logistic Properties) Salt Lake City properties. In addition to a current management portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties, Matthew also manages a number of property management teams.

With extensive experience in the management of commercial and residential properties, Matthew builds working relationships with owners based on trust and hard work, and provides them with service that goes beyond the market standard. Matthew flourishes at finding the best way to work with each owner and their building needs.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield Commerce, Matthew worked with Zions Securities Corporation (ZSC) as a Commercial Property Manager, where he marketed and managed over 500,000 square feet of Class A commercial and residential properties. In this role, he worked closely with the Ogden City Planning Commission on the Master Plan for downtown Ogden, Utah, acted as liaison for ZSC to promote corporate goals for the development of properties in Ogden, and created a customer service program with all tenants to ensure tenant retention. He also has extensive construction management experience, including the oversight of the construction of a Class-A apartment complex and a Class-A office building in Ogden.
