Professional Expertise

Matthew Leishman is a Senior Property Manager with Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce. He oversees the financial operations, maintenance, capital improvements, tenant relations, owner relations, and marketing efforts for over two million square feet of commercial property, including three years managing all of GLP’s (Global Logistic Properties) Salt Lake City properties. Matthew’s current portfolio contains a mixture of office, retail and industrial properties allowing him to broaden his commercial property management expertise.

With extensive experience in the management of commercial and residential properties, Matthew builds working relationships with owners based on trust and hard work, and provides them with service that goes beyond the market standard. Matthew flourishes at finding the best way to work with each owner and their building needs.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce, Matthew worked with Zions Securities Corporation (ZSC) as a Commercial Property Manager, where he marketed and managed over 500,000 square feet of Class A commercial and residential properties. In this role, he worked closely with the Ogden City Planning Commission on the Master Plan for downtown Ogden, Utah, acted as liaison for ZSC to promote corporate goals for the development of properties in Ogden, oversaw new construction of an apartment complex, and created a customer service program with all tenants to ensure tenant retention.
