Company Experience

Mike Richmond is a commercial real estate broker with Commerce Real Estate Solutions specializing in the sales and leasing of commercial properties in Utah. Mike has been active in the commercial real estate industry for the past 19 years and is consistently recognized by his peers and industry as a top-sales professional. Mike has completed over 10 million square feet of transactions totaling over $1 Billion.

Mike joined Commerce in 2005, following six successful years at CB Richard Ellis. During his tenure at CB Richard Ellis, Mike was a "Top Five" producer each year in their Salt Lake City, Utah office and once their top sales person of the year. Prior to CB Richard Ellis, Mike worked for LaSalle Partners (now Jones Lang LaSalle) in Salt Lake City where he headed their office and was responsible for 1.1 million square feet of office space.

Mike's client list includes some of the more sophisticated institutional owners and occupiers of office space in Utah. Mike and his associates have recently been awarded the marketing and leasing of such notable office assignments as Kennecott Development's Daybreak Office Park and the four James Campbell Company's office buildings in Union Park.

Mike is a member of many local and national commercial real estate organizations, and has served as the Utah Chapter President of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Organization. Mike is also a CCIM candidate and member of the Utah Chapter of CCIM.

Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, with an emphasis in Real Estate, from the University of Utah in 1992, where he was also a 4 year letterman on the University of Utah Football Team. Mike has completed 240 hours of education from the Commercial Investments Real Estate Institution in pursuit of the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation.
