SALT LAKE CITY—Mar. 24, 2014—For the fourth year in a row, CCIM Institute’s Utah Chapter has recognized Kip Paul, Executive Director of Investment Sales for Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce, as Utah’s Top Investment Broker of the Year. CCIM Utah is a professional organization for commercial real estate practitioners, which hosts their annual Excellence Awards to recognize and honor Utah’s top professionals within the commercial real estate industry.
“Kip really stands out as a rarity in the profession,” said Ronda Landa, Sponsorship Chair of the Utah CCIM Excellence Awards event committee. “His contribution to his profession and community demonstrate a well-rounded professional working beyond just the numbers. Not only is he a top producer year after year, he also expresses interest in and attention to details many take for granted, setting him apart in his service and leadership. The judges had no reservations selecting Kip Paul again as the Top Investment Broker of the Year.”
Paul also received awards for the second year in a row as Utah’s Top Commercial Real Estate Agent of the Year, and for the Top Commercial Real Estate Sales Transaction for 2014. The recognized sale was for 222 South Main: a 426,657 square foot tower, widely considered the finest office property in Salt Lake City. The Class A Office space was sold by Chicago-based developers, Hamilton Partners to KBS of Newport, California, and represents the largest single-asset sale in Utah history.
Paul is grateful to receive recognition again and was glad to see that expectations for 2014’s eclipse of the previous years’ growth was accurate. “We anticipate 2015 to be another banner year for investment property sales, with similar volume to 2014,” said Paul. “The interest in Salt Lake City from larger institutional buyers continues to increase, including a number of foreign investors.
