Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce Brokers the Sale of the Green Valley Professional Center & Civic Center in Henderson, NV
LAS VEGAS—July 9, 2015—The Las Vegas office of Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce today announced it has closed the $5,500,000 sale of the office property known as Green Valley Professional Center & Civic Center. The office complex located at 2501-2651 North Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, NV, included six buildings totaling 109,630 square feet on 9.28 acres.
Leading the Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce team on this transaction was Geoffrey West, Senior Director-Investment Properties and Michael Dunn, Market Leader for the Las Vegas office of Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce. Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce represented the seller American General Life & Accident Insurance (AIG) and the buyer was a private capital firm, 2625 GV LLC.
“This transaction is a reflection of the positive reinvestment we are seeing in suburban areas of the region,” said Geoffrey West. “The property generated 21 offers, which demonstrates a great deal of interest in areas beyond the primary office corridors in Las Vegas. This will be a positive impact to the neighborhood as the new owners have plans to make renovations and upgrades to the property and the property will shortly thereafter take on new tenants and further revitalize the area.”
The complex is located in the northern portion of premiere Green Valley Master Planned community. The Henderson, Nevada suburban market provides access to extensive, retail, commercial, and neighborhood amenities with surrounding demographics at or above median levels.
