Las Vegas—Oct. 14, 2014—Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce today announced it has been awarded the leasing assignment for Pawn Plaza in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new retail project will be located along Las Vegas Boulevard next to the World‐Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, home of History’s No. 1 show, “Pawn Stars.”
Pawn Plaza will be a two‐story, open‐air retail project with an intimate and exclusive tenant mix, and a highly‐visible location. The project will be constructed of modern, steel cubes, ranging in size from 288 square feet to as large as 1,152 square feet, and will feature a prominent elevation with 10 and 12 foot ceiling heights.
“This project takes our customers’ experience to the next level,” said Rick Harrison, co‐owner of the World‐Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop next door, and developer of the new project. “We’re excited to bring some new and unique shops and restaurants to downtown.”
Pawn Plaza will cater to the continued growth in downtown Las Vegas and to the over 100,000 people per month that come from around the world to visit the World‐Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, home of History’s No. 1 show, “Pawn Stars,” which now airs in over 140 countries. The new retail project will also feature large, open patio and deck areas, a distinctive shading canopy, and prominent signage on Las Vegas Boulevard.
