Mangum Focusing on Deeper Client Relationships and Continued Growth for Salt Lake City, Ogden, Park City and St. George markets
SALT LAKE CITY, November 16, 2017 – Cushman & Wakefield today announced the appointment of Gary Mangum as Managing Principal of the firm’s Utah offices. Based in Salt Lake City, the industry veteran brings more than 39 years of experience and leadership in real estate and related business to his position.
“Gary has an incredible wealth of experience and depth of knowledge that will enhance our client relationships across Utah,” said Cushman & Wakefield’s Andrew McDonald, West Region President. “Utah is a strategic priority for our firm, and as we continue to integrate these offices into our platform, it is critical that we have strong leadership with deep and meaningful roots in the communities where we do business.”
Mangum most recently served as the Regional Manager and Principal Broker of the Salt Lake City office of Marcus & Millichap. In this role, he successfully led the company to an increase in revenue of more than 400%. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mangum was partner and managing director with Synergy Real Estate Development, where he was responsible for overseeing the firm’s overall operations. Before that, he was the managing director and principal broker for the commercial real estate brokerage NAI West. Mangum also spent nearly a decade as the managing director and principal broker at Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT, and was a member of its national advisory board. He also has been a partner and principal broker at Prime Commercial, a leading Salt Lake City commercial real estate brokerage, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s development and brokerage operations nationally.
For Mangum, who recently served as the President Elect of the Utah Chapter of NAIOP, and on the advisory board of the Utah CCIM Chapter, the move to Cushman & Wakefield is a natural next step. “Cushman & Wakefield has a long and successful history as one of the premier brands in commercial real estate,” he said. “I’m excited by the opportunity to leverage this platform on behalf of our clients in the Beehive State.”
Trigger Reital, who previously served as Managing Principal of the Utah offices will remain with Cushman & Wakefield in Salt Lake City and has decided to dedicate his complete time and energy to continuing to service clients. “We thank Trigger for his leadership in the Salt Lake City office over the past few years. We wish him continued success as he transitions back into a production role as an office broker for our company,” McDonald said.
