KISS Monster Mini Golf Chooses Las Vegas to Rock: World’s first KISS & Monster-Themed Golf Course Hopes to be a Pull for Tourism
LAS VEGAS, NV – May 17, 2010 – Legendary rock band KISS will raise the bar for Las Vegas’ tourism this fall with the opening of the world’s first KISS/Monster-themed Monster Mini Golf Course, and flagship gift shop.
KISS and Monster Mini Golf announced last week the signing of a 10-year, $2.9 million lease at The Shoppes at Harmon Square, located across from the Hard Rock Hotel. Construction on 11,460 square feet is currently underway for the indoor glow-in-the-dark course.
“Rockers and golfers of all ages can enjoy a screamingly good time,” explains Christina Vitagliano, Monster Mini Golf Founder. “There’s nothing like it in the world, and will become a destination for fans alike. So, it’s beyond cool. It’s KISS!”
Liz Clare, CCIM and Jacqueline Young of Commerce Real Estate Solutions, Cushman & Wakefield Alliance represented the client exclusively in a site selection process that started 20 months ago, landing the attraction in an area that would benefit from tourism and the local market.
“With nothing else like it in the world, the client needed a location where they could make their mark, create an identity, and shine. Strategically located to take full advantage of the unique Las Vegas market, this will be a destination for tourists as well as local residents,” said Clare. Young added, “This is a perfect fit for both the client and the market, giving tourists another reason to visit the ‘entertainment capital,’ Las Vegas.”
