Professional Expertise

Scott Lovell serves as Corporate Research Director with Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce where he provides the research division with leadership and direction with expertise in the area of commercial real estate research and analysis. Scott ensures the accuracy of reports, data and adherence to corporate standards. He is also responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining the very best staff in the markets he oversees.

Scott has over ten years of experience in asset management and acquisition roles for office, industrial, retail and multi-family properties. He has strong analytical, organizational and communication skills that have been developed through his career. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce, he worked as the Director of Real Estate Projects for Trigild where he was responsible for managing and evaluating non-performing commercial assets. In this capacity he oversaw properties located in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, California, Minnesota and Arizona.

Scott also worked as an Asset Manager for the Garrett Group where he oversaw a portfolio of 2.2 million square feet of office and industrial properties throughout Southern California, Colorado, Arizona, and Texas -- creating strategic plans, completing hold/sell analysis and overseeing financial reporting and budgeting. He helped in the sourcing, analysis, due diligence and closing of over 27 properties through various acquisitions and dispositions.

In his free time Scott enjoys being active and has participated in a number of Ironman, marathon and century ride events. He also enjoys traveling and has visited over 20 countries throughout his life.
