
Todd McLachlan joined Commerce Real Estate Solutions as a member of the office specialist team. He brings to the team his strong work ethic, enthusiasm for the commercial real estate market and his dedication and commitment to success.
Todd began his real estate career in 2003 working as a sales and marketing associate with a top producing office team. His strong communication skills, customer service experience, and problem solving abilities ensure that his clients are receiving the best possible service in attaining their commercial real estate objectives. Todd's comprehension of the entire transaction process, and his ability to negotiate successful deals, has given him the opportunity to work with such clients as Morgan Stanley, Wachovia Securities, McGraw Hill, Marker LTD, and Continental Airlines.
Prior to beginning his full time commercial real estate career, Todd worked as an assistant property manager for Wasatch Property Management in Salt Lake City. In this position he learned in depth detail of the industry from the inside, understanding the needs of both landlords and tenants. This insight helps Todd in dealing with clients on a daily basis, helping them resolve issues and move forward in a positive way. He knows what clients should expect, not only now but in the future, as they make their real estate decisions.
Todd understands that his clients realize what their commercial real estate needs are, and it is his job to recognize current and potential problems and quickly find solutions to those problems. He is there to help clients locate properties, structure lease and sales agreements, find suitable exchange properties and find tenants for existing properties. This knowledge makes Todd and invaluable asset to those with whom he works; they know they can count on him to get the job done.
Todd's innate ability to find resolutions to challenges, his ability to maintain professionalism at all times and his aptitude at seeing every point of view in all situations builds trust with his clients.
